Directory/Lead/Appointment Terms & Conditions

The Financial Advisor UK directory is intended for UK consumers looking to find FCA approved experts in all geographical locations throughout the United Kingdom.

You can list your business within our directory financialadvisoruk.com for 28 days free of charge. Following the free period of 28 days you will be added into a rolling monthly agreement for a fee of £49.00 per month that will be charged to the credit or debit card that you use during registration. You can cancel your fee at any time by emailing cancel@financialadvisoruk.com. You are not in any contract with Financial Advisor UK and can cancel and remove yourself at any time.

Our free trial offer allows you to add the following information into our directory:

  • Website address
  • Phone number
  • Business logo
  • FCA number
  • Full list of services
  • Advice methods
  • Complete company description/overview
  • Testimonials/reviews
  • List of advisors with image, position and qualifications

Additional benefits include:

  • Visitors can enquire directly through the listing

All new listings will be checked by our on-boarding team before the listing goes live on the website. This is so we can check that links are working and proof-read content for spelling & grammatical errors. We check your FCA registration number is correct. We also check that you have the correct permissions against the categories you have selected to be found in.

We aim to approve all listings within 48 hours of receipt, and often much sooner. If there are any problems with the listing, we will contact you on the email address that you provided.

It is your responsibility to update your listing should any information change. You can do this at any time by emailing a list of changes to directory@financialadvisoruk.com.

We reserve the right to reject any listings that we deem inappropriate.

If you wish to cancel your membership after the initial 28-day free period you can do so at any time by notifying us in writing at cancel@financialadvisoruk.com with 7 days’ notice.

If you need any assistance with getting set up with your 28-day trial, please feel free to call our on-boarding team on 01829 707 880. We operate from 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday.

Our Services

Financial Advisor Introduces consumers to other firms who provide regulated financial services to consumers. Our involvement is merely to inform and connect. Consumers can choose to engage with us, and our role will be to put inquirers in touch with an appropriate business that can offer them regulated advice, make arrangements for them and provide ongoing advice and support if needed. We offer this service to anyone wishing to inquire about financial planning services, mortgage or insurance including equity release or lifetime mortgages, pensions, and life assurance.

No Advice

We will not make a personal recommendation for you, any information we provide is for guidance purposes only and should not be construed as personalised advice. We may ask you some questions or obtain details from you to help us direct your inquiry to the right type of provider who can fulfil your needs.

No products

We do not sell, arrange, or review financial products. You cannot buy a product from us. Our role is to direct you to assist you in obtaining advice and/or products from a Bonafede regulated entity.



Lead Types 



Life Insurance Leads: Life insurance leads are provided by email or by API. Leads will be replaced if the number is incorrect or invalid, or any undisclosed major impairment, replacement leads will be checked by our customer service team and approved by your account manager within 7-10 days. 



Mortgage Leads: Mortgage leads are provided by email or by API. Leads will be replaced if the number is incorrect or invalid, or any incorrect deposit or income details, replacement leads will be checked by our customer service team and approved by your account manager within 7-10 days. 



Pension Leads: Silver, Bronze Pension leads are provided by email or by API Leads will be replaced if the number is incorrect or invalid, or any incorrect pension value details, replacement leads will be checked by our customer service team and approved by your account manager within 7-10 days. 



Pension Appointments: Gold Pension Appointment – details are provided by email – they are accompanied with a voice recording of the appointment made by our customer service team ensuring the lead hits the correct specification (geographic location and pension value).

Pension lead orders are non-refundable due to the bespoke nature of the orders which includes data aquisition costs, SMTP costs, creative design costs incurred by Financial Advisor UK. No timeline for exact delivery of pension leads or appointments is provided for region specific bronze, silver or gold leads.
